ARM BALANCING & INVERSION WORKSHOP
with Jennifer Kesik
Arm balances and inversions are a fantastic way to develop strength in the body and the mind. They challenge us mentally and physically, allowing us to face our fears and break free from limiting self beliefs that prevent us from living with full potential. With directed energy and good intention, you will be amazed at what your body can do!
Join Jennifer Kesik for this 2h Arm Balancing & Inversion workshops during which you will learn various techniques to develop basic framework for safe and sustainable balances and getting upside down.
With a strong focus on arm balancing and inversions as well as improving general strength of core, arms and legs this series of workshops is designed for both: beginners who wish to gain new confidence as well as intermediate practicioners who would like to improve their current technique and take their practice to next level. The workshop will start with a short Vinyasa Flow to strenghten core & shoulders, warm up wrists with wrist therapy and prepare your body to go upside down safely. Once your body is warm, we will: 🌟Explore various core strengthening drills. 🌟Look at use of props in the practice and prep for inversions and arm balances (blocks, straps, wall) 🌟 Explore mechanics behind various arm balancing and inversions. To name few we will look in more details at Bakasa (crow), Parsva Bakasana (side crow), Sirsasana (head stand) and Pincha (forearm balance) 🌟Learn proper alignment and techniques of each pose 🌟Have fun and take yourself outside of your comfort zone! 🌟 Enjoy a well deserved calming shavasana at the end of the practice to allow the body to absorb all the knowledge You will sweat, you will laugh and you will definitely surprise yourself!
During the workshop each participant will receive some one-on-one coaching to meet individual needs. |
