YOUR HOSTS
JENNIFER KESIK
Jenny's yoga journey began back in 2009 as a cure to the back pain caused by scoliosis which she developed while competing as a professional windsurfer. Jenny was amazed how positively her body responded to yoga and what started with simple stretching quickly turned into a regular practice. After 8 years of regular practice in 2016 Jenny traveled to India and completed a 200h yoga intensive Ashtanga/Vinyasa teacher training at Sampoorna Yoga Institute in India. Jenny now teaches weekly classes around Bournemouth, UK. Her classes are dynamic and combine creative sequencing which allow you to challenge yourself on the mat! During the classes Jenny encourages you to try new things and go outside your comfort zone but also grow and develop yourself spiritually off the mat. Jenny's other passion is healthy eating and nutrition. She organises Yoga + Smoothies Social events where yogis are able to enjoy healthy smoothies after a dynamic flow. She also runs a blog Yoga Foodie Girl which she uses as a tool to inspire others to uptake yoga and eat in a more mindful and wholesome way.
ABBY FAYE REDLEY
Abby came to yoga nine years ago, initially as just a physical practice. She soon discovered the many other benefits and yoga provided the balance she sought whilst living and traveling in Australia. She felt more grounded in challenging times and uplifted by the final relaxation, savasana glow! When she returned to the UK in 2013, she realised her deep desire to share the benefits she had experienced with others. Abby gained her 200 hour RYT qualification with YogaLondon and has been teaching weekly classes, 1:1 sessions, fundraising classes and workshops in Bournemouth for over two years. Abby believes a yoga practice is not just on the mat, as mindful self knowledge and awareness can be beneficial in all aspects of daily life. Abby's other passion is living a vegan life which she shares through yoga and plant based nutrition events. Abby’s classes are welcoming and fun, inviting you to explore your body and mind through breath, (pranayama), movement, (physical postures - asana) and meditation. Her dancing background is reflected through a flowing style of yoga (vinyasa), finding lightness and meditation though movement. She also incorporates Ashtanga, Yin, Sivananda and Yoga Nidra influences. Abby will supportively and safely guide you through an invigorating practice to a restorative final relaxation. Abby has continued her professional development through attending various workshops and is due to complete her 60 hour Yoga Medicine spine module in May 2018. I look forward to practicing with you soon! Namaste.
